Qianlong Six-Character Mark
Of facetted hu form,with two tubular lug handles,covered overall in a thick opaque ru-type glaze,all on a straight facetted foot with brown dressed foot rim. Six character sealmark of Qianlong in underglaze blue and of the period,1736 – 1795. Fine Japanese double wood box.
